Bloggers Sharing Some Health

During the 10 months I've been active with Whole Food And More blog I've come across many great blogs. Today I want to share a few of the blogs that have been my motivation, shared healthful info and have become good online friends.

First I want to thank Chris for her concern and heartfelt thoughts during my dog Tara's last few days. Chris is an animal lover, like I am so she knew the pain I felt when Tara died. Her cat Fritz died suddenly around the same time Tara died and she put her own pain aside to comfort me. What a great friend, thank you Chris. OK on to her blog(s). If you grow your own Herbs check out the article Chris wrote Harvesting Your Herb Garden.
Chris writes at Living Well- Naturally and The cat and dog log. Both blogs offer very healthful things for you, your furry or feathered friends, your home, garden and yard.

Almost Fit is a blog focusing on eating real food to get fit. Jeremy aka MetroKnow always writes based on his experience with food and what he has learned on his way to being Almost Fit. This article he gives some light to why the French, with all of their dietary rule-breaking, they simply should be dying off like flies from heart disease. Jeremy says, "I mean after all, high fat foods? Simple carbohydrates and sugar-filled deserts? Cigarettes and alcohol? No Stairmaster for 3 hours a day? According to our experience, our industrial and governmental science, and our gigantic devotion to every miracle-cure product and approach we can turn our eyes to, their collective hearts should all be congealed, seized up like French-made Peugeot diesel motors full of hardened, varnished sludge."
Interesting you think? This is just a sample of the well written articles from Almost Fit, find your favorite and feel free to leave your own comments for MetroKnow.

Last one for this first Bloggers Sharing Some Health:

My friend Sue, Health Nut Wannabe is a new blogger writing about health, of course. She is a busy lady so hasn't had a lot of time to write everyday in her blog. When she has the time away from school she enjoys blogging. You can read about Superfoods - Rice Bran or Low levels of "good cholesterol" have been linked to memory loss. Go over to Sue's Health Nut Wannabe blog and if you like what she has done so far, give her a comment of Cheers.

OK that's it for the first Bloggers sharing some health feature this week. I'm going to try to make this a Sunday post, please forgive me if I miss a Sunday, there's still about 6 weekends before school starts again so we will be camping a few more times.

  2. Wow, thank you for featuring my blogs here and for your kind words. I'm glad I could help you when you needed it and I hope it's getting easier as each day passes. Just remember Tara is in a better place, and she'll be waiting for you when your day arrives - you'll be together again. Boy, will we ever have a bunch of animals waiting for us huh? Take care Robin
