Foods That Are Good Sources of Natural Estrogens

For many women going through menopause a change in diet can help with natural estrogen or if you have breast cancer, PMS, fibroids, ovarian cysts estrogen might make these issues worse.

  1. Some foods in the estrogen food list seems misleading. For example,Yam(1/4 cup) has only total Phytoestrogen 13.9 micro-gram that is insignicant to Tofu(1/4 cup) that has 8688 micro-gram total Phytoestrogen.

    Why Broccoli is estrogen inhibiting foods ? Broccoli(1/4 cup) has 18 micro-gram of Phytoestrogen that is more than what Yam has in a 1/4 cup.

    Could you please explain.
