I compared the money I spent on fresh fruits and veggies to what I spend on my whole food multi supplement. I averaged $20 a week on food verses less than $40 a month for the fruits and veggies in my supplement. I wouldn't mind buying the fresh food if my family would eat it. It was a waste of money when it sat in the fridge to rot. There's no way we could eat 6 different berries,
Noni fruit,
camu-
camu an amazon
rain forest fruit, 5 citrus fruits, grapes, cherry, apricot, apple, pear, watermelon, mango, papaya, pineapple, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, kale,
Brussels sprouts, 3 sea vegetables, tomato, carrot, spinach, asparagus, bell pepper, celery and cucumber all in a day. Think about actually eating these 37 fruits and veggies everyday. Impossible for us.
I would rather put my money in something we can and will use. Our health is worth it to get 77 fruits, veggies, herbs, spices and enzymes every day. I still buy the fruits and veggies we do eat but don't try to force or trick anyone into eating what they really don't like.

Beyond Organic Healthy Food
I would love to talk about Merle's Door. I thought it was an excellent book, and somewhat unusual when compared to many of the books about dogs today. (In a ver, very good way!)
ReplyDeleteWhat are some of your thoughts? I will try and do a post about the book this week.
Thanks and happy holidays,
