My kid likes to eat at White Castle from time to time. I don't like the food but can handle the Chicken Rings once a year. We did have lunch there on Saturday, both ate the Chicken Rings combo. I was sick to my stomach all day Sunday and will likely feel icky on Monday. I'm not saying the food is tainted or bad, it just doesn't sit well with me. I haven't eaten fast food in months and I know White Castle wasn't the place to start with. I won't pick on just White Castle, I haven't eaten at Subway in 2 years after being sick twice from veggie sandwiches. McDonald's is out of the question because I feel so icky after eating anything they make.
I used to be the Fast Food Queen, everyday it was McDonald's, Taco Bell or Burger King. Wow, now I can't handle anything I used to love. I don't miss eating out like this and realized today that the Alka Seltzer I took was the first one I've needed in 2 years....
Fun thing was, the game show Deal or No Deal had auditions going on a few blocks from White Castle. We talked with several people who spent 6 hours outside in -10 degrees temps for a chance to be on the show. There were 12,000 people at this one location hoping to be one of the 8 chosen from Minnesota.
